Getting Started

What is Forge?+
Forge is a gamified discipline coach. You’ll receive daily missions, earn XP, keep streaks, open blind boxes (rewards), and chat with your Future Self to stay consistent.
How do I sign up or log in?+
Use Sign in with Apple or Continue with Google. If you can’t sign in, ensure you’re using the same provider as when you first created your account.
What’s my first mission?+
After onboarding, Forge generates your first mission based on your goals and daily commitment. Complete it to earn XP and begin your streak.
What is “Future Self” and why name it?+
Your “Future Self” is the persona guiding you. Naming it builds commitment and personalization for coaching and messages.

Features & Gameplay

How are missions generated?+
Missions are generated from your goals, commitment minutes, and recent performance. Over time, difficulty adapts to keep you in an optimal challenge zone.
How do streaks work?+
Completing at least one mission per day continues your streak. Missing a day breaks it. Some events may include a limited “grace” mechanic in future versions.
What are Blind Box rewards?+
After key milestones (e.g., completing missions), you can open a Blind Box to receive cosmetic collectibles or perks. Rarity and pity systems exist to keep it fair and exciting.
How do Squads work?+
Squads are small accountability groups. Invite friends, share wins, and keep each other on track. (Feature availability may vary by region/version.)
Is there a Pomodoro timer?+
Yes. Certain flows let you jump straight into a Pomodoro session from a mission to reduce friction and enter deep work faster.

Troubleshooting

I can't log into my account+
Make sure you’re using the same login method you used at signup (Apple or Google). If issues persist, email support@getforge.xyz.
I didn't get my progress or XP+
Sync can be slightly delayed. Force-quit and reopen the app. If XP still doesn’t appear, send a screenshot + timestamp to support@getforge.xyz.
Notifications are not working+
Ensure notifications are enabled in iOS Settings > Forge. If you previously denied permission, re-enable it in Settings or reinstall the app to be re-prompted.
The app is crashing or feels slow+
Update to the latest version, restart your device, and ensure you have a stable network connection. Report persistent issues to support@getforge.xyz.

Billing & Subscription

What do I get with Forge Premium?+
Premium unlocks advanced mission generation, expanded rewards, deeper analytics, and priority support (exact benefits may evolve as we ship features).
How do I start a trial?+
In-app, choose a Premium plan. Trials, if available in your region, will be shown before you confirm.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
On iOS: go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, find Forge, then tap Cancel Subscription. Apple manages billing, so support cannot cancel on your behalf.
My subscription isn’t showing up in the app+
Tap “Restore Purchases” (if available) or reinstall the app while signed in with the same Apple ID. If it still doesn’t appear, email receipts/screenshots to support@getforge.xyz.
How do refunds work?+
Apple handles App Store refunds directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and follow Apple’s steps.

Privacy & Security

How does Forge use my data?+
We use your data to personalize missions and improve your experience. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account and data?+
In the app, go to Settings > Account and choose Delete Account. This permanently removes your data after any required retention window. If you need help, email support@getforge.xyz.
What is App Tracking Transparency (ATT)?+
If prompted, ATT permission helps us deliver more relevant content and measure effectiveness. You can decline and still use Forge.

Tips & Best Practices

How do I build a strong streak?+
Set a realistic daily commitment, do your mission early, and use notifications. If you miss, restart immediately—momentum is key.
How do I get into flow state with Forge?+
Start missions in a quiet environment, use the Pomodoro, and remove distractions. Align missions with your peak energy time.
How do I suggest a feature?+
